What you will do:
- Develop and pitch innovative, creative ideas to clients, effectively communicating the potential impact and value they can bring
- Take charge of the organic content strategy for publications under TheSmartLocal media group, tailoring approaches for different platforms
- Constantly keep an eye on global trends and harness them to create viral organic content that resonates with diverse audiences
- Enjoy the opportunity to be at the forefront of social media trends and digital content strategies, driving engagement and growth for both our clients and our own media platforms
- Get hands-on experience in top funnel to bottom funnel marketing, providing a holistic understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem

The successful candidate should have:
- Preferably with relevant experience in marketing, social media, or content production
- Extremely creative mind. Able to drop 20 answers to “what can you do with a brick?” in a minute
- Articulate and concise with the written word. You are able to make ideas come to life even when limited to just words
- Strong interest in ideation for branded video and editorial content to suit clients’ briefs
- Passionate about the creation of viral and original content for our publishers
- Preferably with at least one secondary skill including but not limited to writing, screenwriting, video production, photography, or design
- Avid user of at least 2 prominent social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Tiktok)
- Good communication skills. You will need to effectively pitch ideas to clients, and work well with various internal departments to carry your content strategy forward
