About the role…
The Account Director plays a crucial role in maintaining and expanding client relationships. This senior-level position involves overseeing the delivery of services/products, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for account growth. The Account Director serves as a liaison between clients and the internal team, working to align client objectives with the company’s offerings.
What you will do:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Understand clients’ business objectives and provide strategic guidance. Act as the main point of contact for client communication.
- Account Strategy: Develop and implement account strategies aligned with client goals. Collaborate with clients to identify new opportunities and areas for growth. Work closely with the internal team to ensure the successful execution of strategies.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the delivery of products/services to clients, ensuring quality and timeliness. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to meet client expectations. Monitor project budgets and timelines.
- Financial Management: Manage account budgets and ensure profitability. Provide financial forecasts and reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Leadership: Lead, train and inspire junior members of the Client Services Team to ensure client satisfaction and successful completion of campaigns, fostering a collaborative and high performance work environment
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs. Communicate client expectations to internal teams and ensure alignment.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues that may arise during the course of projects. Proactively identify potential challenges and implement solutions.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts. Collaborate with the sales team to pursue new business opportunities.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to clients on project status, performance, and results. Analyze data and metrics to derive insights and make recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Min. 7-8 years of proven experience in account servicing at a creative agency or media publisher.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, social media platforms, and content creation.
- Strong client management and excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
