About the role…
As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and results-driven Account Manager with experience in influencer marketing, digital media and social media management to join our team.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing client relationships, as well as identifying new business opportunities. You will work closely with our other teams and act as the guardian of the account to ensure that our work meets and exceeds client expectations. Externally, you’re the face and voice of the company, and internally, you represent the client’s best interests as their main advocate.
What you will do:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
- Understand the client’s business and marketing objectives and work with internal teams to develop strategies and tactics to achieve those objectives
- To grow company revenue through retention and strategic upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Lead the development and execution of integrated campaigns, with a focus on content marketing, KOL management, social media management, storytelling, branding and digital marketing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Project Management, Content Strategy, Creative, Editorials, and media planning and buying to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and on budget
- Use data and insights to inform campaign strategy and optimize performance
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Manage client budgets and financial forecasting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and defend creative concepts and strategies
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members
Daily Tasks:
- Research clients including industry, target audience, competitors
- Develop best-in-class client briefs that articulate the business challenge clearly and provides sufficient background information for teams to work with
- Lead regular WIP meetings with clients to provide status updates and provide detailed contact reports
- Drive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), strive for performance uplifts and develop strategy to increase wallet share
- Lead proposal development by being the single POC for all teams, ensuring milestones are met and client objectives are addressed
- Prepare and present project proposals, presentations, and reports to clients
- Provide regular updates to Management Team including opportunities, financials, key risks etc
- Provide regular updates and status reports to clients and internal team members
- Work with Finance to track billing and payment
- Review and advise on integrated campaigns by consulting with all teams
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Manage project scopes and budgets, identifying and communicating any changes or issues to both internal teams and clients
- Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and assist in new business development efforts
- Lead introductory meetings with new prospects and new business enquiries
- Be passionate about pop culture, trends, content, KOLs and social media
- Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and follow-up, and handle any client concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
- Hone your communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
- Handle multiple projects and enquiries simultaneously, manage your priorities and time effectively
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinating third-party resources as needed.
