About the role
We are seeking an intern who is interested in a career in Human Resources and seeks to gain practical experience in the field. The successful intern will work closely with our Head of Human Resources, primarily to set up and integrate our applicant tracking system and on other HR projects.
Responsibilities
New Software Implementation
Own the process of setting up a new applicant tracking software.
- Create job descriptions repository
- Replicate existing job requisitions onto system
- Review and ensure all job posts are aligned to the TSL job posting language
- Build and manage candidates database
- Reviewing profiles and undertake skills tagging
- Create hiring managers profile
- Set up candidate experience process – from application to onboarding
- Undertake system testing with HR team on a daily basis
Employee Onboarding
- Support in employee onboarding
- Work with new hires to enhance their employee journey
- Champion positive employee experience
HR Support
- Update and maintain job description database
- Support team on any other ad hoc matters as instructed by your supervisor
The successful candidate should have:
- Undergoing tertiary education in Business Management/Administration
- Applicants pursuing a specialization/major in Human Resources will be an added advantage
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- Organized, detail-oriented and meticulous
- Ability to commit for a minimum of 16-week internship (4 months)
