In a bid to help Sony cut through the sea of Internet noise and promote the camera capabilities of the new Xperia XZ Premium phone, we crafted a 4-part travel series with a unique hook (from Singapore to London on land) that was filmed entirely using the phone. Millennials spend a lot of time on their phones, with many vlogging their daily lives on social media so we wanted to demonstrate the features of the phone through a 4-part travelogue with a unique hook – travelling from Singapore to London on land! With such a unique hook, the travel content was engaging to our audience and kept them interested as we demonstrated key features such as being weather-resistant, super slow-motion, low light capability, and more using cinematic shots to film the vlog series.
